Yes - both of those, except my toaster is almost always on the wrong setting. Must sort that out. The worst dog barks are the yappy ones. I don't think anyone loves narcs, or malignant nutters in general. This topic is like that show from the UK - 'Grumpy Old Men', and 'Grumpy Old Women' with these middle aged celebrities bitching about stuff. I could go on forever. On the plus side, I also have a very long list of positives as well. We'll get to that. But first, a lot more.
* Those round indentations at the top of fake boobs - dead giveaway. * Loud people. * Loud noises in general. * Cockroaches - eeek. * Bogan names - like Rybekkah, Charlize. * Harem pants with a dropped crotch. * Baggy trousers with a pattern - they don't even look good on models. * Polyester - eeeew. Makes you smell, the skin can't breathe. * Nail art.
Loud talkers in the quiet carriage. Snakes - red belly blacks, tigers, carpet pythons, browns, all the ones that haunt my garden. Tax cheats. Leg jigglers. When you accidentally pull in front of someone because they're going much faster than you think they are, and they overtake, pulling in front of you, and hit the brakes. Especially when you have kids in the car.
Lol - leg jigglers! Too funny. I know what you mean about compliments - I never know what to say Yes to all of the above, although I haven't personally experienced that exact car manoeuvre.
I'm worried I'll accidentally say something that applies to you. That would be another peeve - offending people. Horror.
The only people who love narcs are themselves - haha.
Small talk - this is a particularly intense one. Although my daughter tells me I'm very good at it. I suppose I try really hard at it to disguise the fact that I'm terminally bored. Save me!! Once I was at a mother's lunch where the topic of conversation was whether they use white or brown bread for their children - kill me, kill me now...
Sorry - just had the whole family over for dinner - long overdue. More than a few wines later...I'll break my bitching with some of my likes.
* Sunsets. * Tropical plants and flowers * Lindt chocolate * Silk - not to be a wanker, but because I like natural fabrics on my skin - see previous re polyester * French films, soaps, fashion, language. * Warm/smart/funny people. * Technology, preferably by Apple. * Word shuffling. * Open fires. * Bushwalking. * Bichon Frise dogs. * Zoning out, in a natural setting. * Japanese food.
I've decided talking about likes is really goddamn boring, and makes our thread sound like a dating site. Feel free to give me yours, then let's go back to bitching. Ok?
Likes? Well I'll just lift this from my RSVP profile...
