Happy 2020 to all poets, here we are again. Thanks to all who contribute and keep it going.

Not New Year unless you really want to, just 'new' What is new is up to you. New shoes, new teeth, new outlook, new home, new beliefs, new dog...new anything.
You can be as literal or figurative or metaphorical as you like, but something must be new to someone or something.
So. Give us a poem about something 'new' to someone or something.
Rules: Nothing specific this time.
General Rules: The week's subject will be posted on Sunday. Poets can then post until Thursday evening. Poems must not be already written, or from a longer previously written poem. They must be written off the cuff, to the subject/theme. Unless a particular form/length is specified there will be no restrictions on poetic form, or length.
Voting will take place from Friday morning until Sunday evening, when the week's winners will be announced along with the new subject.
Voting Scores - 3 points for 1st choice, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd.
Well how strange. But at least now we have the link. But it is already Thursday evening - maybe we could transfer the theme to next week? The digital world has played a lot of pranks on me this day too - lost mails f.ex - so better take it easy may be the message - at last for me, it is
